The buy now, wear forever pieces you need in your holiday wardrobe this summer…

Packing for a holiday always begins with excitement, ends in tears - right? And packing for a holiday which involves a budget flight sans hold luggage, well, it’s enough to call the whole thing off. However, with some clever buys you can reduce the stress. Instead, of chucking five different bikinis in your case, pack one classic swimsuit. Don’t spend hours debating what shoes to bring. A pair of tan sandals will work for whatever the occassion. And whatever you do don’t leave buying your hat until you get to your destination. No one ever looks good in a baseball cap in a garish print. Instead, plan ahead with these seven clever buys. And whilst the price tag may not be cheap, cost per wear, over several years they’re totally worth it.

Peruse our list below of fail-safe summer staples…

Though you may love the idea of wearing heels on holiday, in reality come sundown, no one ever does. Instead, opt for a pair of flat tan sandals which look just as good worn with denim as they do with a floral dress.

The denim shorts
