As Amy Poehler and Tina Fey pointed out during last week's Golden Globes, Amal Clooney is a brilliant and successful human rights lawyer (oh the irony of the fact it was her actor husband picking up the lifetime achievement award).

Amal travels the world representing the likes of Julian Assange and the former president of the Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, and has been an advisor to Kofi Annan regarding Syria. With such an all-consuming job, it's a wonder she finds time to do her nails, let alone look quite so flawless and impeccably dressed at all times.

During her wedding to George Clooney, which took place in Venice in September last year, we were treated to an array of beautiful ensembles and dresess, all of which proved that this is a woman who has a distinctive style and a timeless elegance.
