The utility trend has bought with it the boiler suit, and it just so happens to be the easiest item to wear from this season, to the next.
At this time of year it can be tricky to know what to invest in. Do you go for maxi dresses you’ll be able to take on last minute holidays? Or, do you look for the latest new season jackets?
According to Stylist’s fashion team, it’s both. However, there’s one item everyone can invest in that’ll work for all occasions across all seasons; the boiler suit.
Spotted all over the spring/summer 19 catwalks at the likes of Stella McCartney and Jil Sander, they’re also going to be big news for autumn/winter too. With designers including Proenza Schouler, Tom Ford and The Row putting the utility trend in the forefront of new season trends, they’re going to be sticking around.
Along with designers, high street brands from the likes of Topshop and Warehouse to Kitri have created neutral tone, utility style boiler suits.
So want makes them different to jumpsuits? If they resemble a mechanic’s overalls then you’re on the right path! Zips, elasticised waists and multi pockets are all part of the utility package.
Scroll down to see the pick of the best ones, from just £32.99!
