Remember, a dog is for life, not just the new season.
Stylist isn’t advocating that you choose your pet to match your outfit this season. But they are the inspiration for this season’s catwalks. From Dalmatians (Topshop dedicated their a/w 2011 show to the chic monochrome dog), swinging tassels (just like Jinx the dreadlocked Puli) and sheeny metallic velvet (spot the difference between Calvin Klein’s dress and a Weimeraner) natural textures and prints are key trends for the new season. In case you’re concerned, our dogs are all professionals, regularly appearing in films and on TV so a day hanging out in Stylist’s studio was a walk in the park. ''
