The brand also hit back at claims by The Sun that it was underpaying garment factory workers in Bangladesh, saying: “We are proud of our sustained efforts in terms of factory inspections and audits, and our teams worldwide work very closely with our suppliers and their factories to ensure compliance.”

Speaking about her motivation for creating Ivy Park in 2016, Beyoncé said that she wanted to build a fashion brand that celebrated “every woman and the body she’s in while always striving to be better.

“I called it Ivy Park because a park is our commonality,” she told ELLE. “We can all go there; we’re all welcomed. It's anywhere we create for ourselves.”
