Pudsey goes couture...again

Loveable, charitable teddy bear Pudsey has had another chic wardrobe make-over for this year's Children in Need – and he's gone even more haute couture than before.
Ditching the spotted eye patch and yellow hue (so last season), for Swarovski crystals, Pucci prints, a Burberry Mac and Prada flatform brogues, this isn’t the first time Pudsey has been restyled into an on-trend ted.
Pudsey was dressed in designer threads for last year's Children in Need, and his fashion makeover was so successful, the charity enlisted super-stylist Katie Grand to curate a 30-strong collection of bears, all dressed in some of fashion’s biggest names. As well as Prada, Pucci, Gucci and Tom Ford, British names Victoria Beckham, Anya Hindmarch, Giles Deacon and Paul Smith have all given Pudsey a chic new look.
The whole collection will be exclusively exhibited in the London & Manchester Selfridges Stores from 23 October until the 14 November 2012, before being auctioned to raise funds for the charity. Preview 20 of the 30 designer staking part in the gallery below.
