For fancy-dress fans, 31 October is a date circled on the calendar months in advance. The planning and dedication that goes into crafting the perfect Halloween outfit would have the costume department of the National Theatre impressed (and you can bet your last jelly spider that they have Pinterest boards teeming with ideas).
So what better than combining your favourite films with the silliest night of the year and dressing up as a Disney villain?
Unfortunately, DIY fancy dress is pretty hardcore, to be fair, and we don’t always have time. But this year, one supermarket has upped the game and made Disney dressing much easier (and cheaper) with a whole range of scary, yet legendary, Disney Halloween costumes.
Asda’s new line features some of the darkest villains from our favourite cartoon tales – and we couldn’t love it more. For too long we’ve been stuck on Disney princesses – from Cruella de Vil’s long, satin gloves to Maleficent’s impressive headwear, it’s time we gave these wickedly fabulous women the attention they deserve.
You can get yourself a full outfit for just £14, with slightly more extravagant costumes increasing to £25. Scroll through our gallery below to see the full range, including both Disney and other classic get-ups to make your Halloween fashion a whole lot simpler.
