Last night a whole host of A-listers donned their most spectacular outfits and hit the red carpet for the 67th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

From January Jones' bold emerald green jumpsuit to Elisabeth Moss' hot pink gown, the stars proved they weren't afraid to embrace bright pops of colour - or quirky accessories, as proved by Maisie Williams in cool fluffy pink heels.

Head this way to see all the best looks from the night.

  • Sofia Vergara

The Modern Family actress looked sublime in a strapless, floor length gown accessorised with matching metallic bracelets. The star topped her look off with a bold lip and loose curls.

  • January Jones

January Jones made a statement in this bold emerald jumpsuit by Ulyana Sergeenko accessorised with a delicate brooch and sparkling jewellery by Tiffany & Co.

  • Maggie Gyllenhaal

This classic Oscar de la Renta ball gown was made for the red carpet.

  • Claire Danes

If Clare Danes' incredible sequin gown was anything to go by, chain straps are back - in a major way. The actress kept the rest of her look simple with minimal accessories and subtle makeup.

  • Cat Deeley

Our favourite TV presenter, who hosted the ceremony, turned heads in a sequinned dress by Monique Lhuillier. Top marks for the matching lipstick and nails, too.

  • Kerry Washington

The Scandal star wowed the crowd in this sparkling, embellished dress with a split skirt. Her metallic heels are perfectly on point for Autumn/Winter 2015.

  • Lady Gaga

The singer opted for a pared back, subtle look. We love the demure makeup and elegant black dress.

  • Elisabeth Moss

The Mad Men star stood out in a hot pink dress by Oscar de la Renta with a brilliantly clashing bold red lip. She also wore seven diamond bracelets to celebrate her seven nominations.

  • Christina Hendricks

The actress upped the glamour on the red carpet with this floor-length studded dress.

  • Taylor Schilling

Taylor Schilling brought a pop of colour to the red carpet in this canary yellow dress by Stella McCartney matched with red lipstick and a lemon yellow clutch.

  • Laura Prepon

Laura Prepon looked a far cry from her Orange is the New Black character Alex Voss in this beautiful red gown by Christian Siriano.

  • Uzo Aduba

Uzo Aduba wowed in this hot pink halter top and full prom skirt on the red carpet, before triumphantly accepting the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for the second time for her role as Crazy Eyes in Orange is the New Black.

  • Dascha Polanco

Black and mustard yellow make for a stunning combination in this sheer-skirted prom dress.

  • Danielle Brooks

Award for swishiest dress of the night goes to Danielle Brooks, whose yellow, green and blue dress made a beautiful splash of colour against the Emmys backdrop.

  • Laverne Cox

Laverne Cox looks stylish as ever in this aquamarine cut out dress, accessorised with a band of diamonds and a statement black clutch.

  • Tarryn Manning

The Orange is the New Black actress is barely recognisable in a backless black gown with seriously cool, slicked back hair. We're coveting her oversized star earrings, too.

  • Jackie Cruz

The Orange is the New Black star lets her fabulous multi-coloured box clutch do the talking in a structured white gown with gold jewellery.

  • Natasha Lyonne

The actress was perfectly on trend wearing this fringed masterpiece and a series of stacking bracelets up her wrist.

  • Ellie Kemper

No one can pull of a multi-coloured sequin gown quite like Ellie Kemper. The actress teamed the stand-out dress with a slicked back pony and sultry smokey eye.

  • Amy Poehler

The comedian and Parks and Recreation actress proved that massive bangles are back on the red carpet in this gorgeous cut out dress (we love those beach waves too). Later on, she showed she was a woman after our own heart when she changed into a massive hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.

  • Aubrey Plaza

The Parks and Recreation star worked a sparkly black dress with a thigh high split by Alexander Vauthier.

  • Jane Krakowski

With a dress this big and beautiful, who needs accessories? Certainly not Jane Krakowski, who opted for a sweet undo and subtle makeup with her gorgeous ball gown.

  • Tracee Ellis Ross

This layered salmon pink gown worked perfectly with bold gold accessories.

  • Naomi Watts and Lieb Shriver

Naomi Watts looked typically stylish in a stunning strapless embellished gown, accessorised with a cool red clutch and a knockout diamond cocktail ring.

  • Lena Headey

We love this glittering ball gown with matching nails and lips for an extra touch of gothic glamour.

  • Julianne Hough

Julianne Hough wore a sultry black lattice gown with a full, sheer skirt to walk the red carpet, with all-black accessories to continue the theme.

  • Felicity Huffman

The Desperate Housewives star kept it simple with a floor-length draped black dress and gold jewellery.

  • Emma Roberts

Emma Roberts described her old Hollywood glamour look as "dripping in diamonds". From the romantic waves to the beautiful Jenny Packham dress and the diamond necklace, bracelet and rings, the star certainly created a stir.

  • Maisie Williams

We loved Maisie Williams' quilted baby pink gown, but it was her fluffy pink shoes that caught our attention the most.

  • Kathryn Hahn

One of the quirkiest looks from the night, this velvet ruffle dress went perfectly with a statement dark red lip.

  • Joanne Froggatt

The Downton Abbey star looked stunning in a black and pink J Mendel Resort 2016 cut out creation.

  • Kathy Bates

The actress went for a classic combination of an all-black ensemble with a Hollywood red lip.

  • Sophie Hunter

We love this chic, sophisticated look.

  • Christine Baranski

Another brilliantly bright red carpet look came from The Good Wife star Christine Baranski in this cool pink dress.

  • Heidi Klum

The model was a vision in yellow wearing this net sequinned dress by Atelier Versace.

  • Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis rocked a classic black dress with a gorgeous silver cuff.

  • Kiernan Shipka

Kiernan Shipka gave a fresh take on red carpet dressing in Dior cigarette trousers and a Marie Antoinette top. Bravo.

  • Ariel Winter

We love a dress with a difference and the asymmetric neckline on the Modern Family star's red gown gave it an edge.

  • Sarah Hyland

The Modern Family actress looked sublime in a beautiful Zac Posen gown accessorised with plenty of bling.

  • Anna Chlumsky

We love this floral embellished dress with sequin detailing but it's Anna's Chopard jewellery that we can't take our eyes off.

  • Louise Roe

The TV presenter kept things simple and classic in an asymmetric white dress with a jewelled clutch.
