Today the British Fashion Council announced the winners of the prestigious Fashion Forward sponsorship.
Designers Henry Holland, Louise Gray, Mary Katrantzou and James Long will receive sponsorship from the scheme for two consecutive seasons to show in London. James is the first menswear designer to receive support through this scheme.
Established six years ago to provide support for emerging British designers, Fashion Forward provides a cash prize to help winners show their collections, plus business support from the BFC, and has helped nurture the talents of Christopher Kane, Erdem, Giles Deacon and Peter Pilotto.
Holland, who came to fashion fame with his cheeky slogan t-shirts and friendship with the model Agyness Deyn , says it is a "huge accolade for the brand".

Other winners include Athens-born designer Mary Katrantzou, whose bold digital prints and use of trompe d'oeil have wowed fashion editors and stylish celebrities alike, and Louise Gray, known for her eclectic clashing of bold colours and prints.

Fashion Forward strengthens London's reputation as a fashion capital dedicated to supporting new and exciting talent - and we can't wait to see what more sponsorship will do for these designers.
