From the streets of New York, to London, Milan and Paris, this is what the Stylist fashion team are wearing to the international shows.
Getting dressed for Fashion Week isn’t the same as getting dressed for every other day of the week: it’s a more considered occasion. A best foot forward, if you will. There are photographers waiting to take your picture, editors to catch up with, collections to see and designers to run backstage for.
It’s a gruelling month of back-to-back shows and presentations, so there needs to be an element of trust that your outfit can withstand the curve balls of a fashion week day. So, before heading out the door in a thigh high split dress and fresher than fresh white boots, you must ask yourself the following: ‘Can I run in this outfit?’ ‘Can I do a last minute party in this outfit?’ ‘If I get hit with a gust of wind is it game over?’
With those questions in mind, this is how the fashion team have tackled getting ready for the shows and, more importantly, getting dressed in the rising humidity.
