From black dresses to this season’s must have accessories, here’s what team Stylist are wearing to the shows…

Women are faced with the struggle of getting dressed every day. How many times have you looked at your wardrobe and found it seemingly impossible to construct an outfit? How many times have you felt dissatisfied with everything you see, felt bored of wearing the same clothes and waiting for a lightning bolt to hit and immediately have you dressed and ready to face the day? We’ve all been there.

Now, add the pressures of fashion week into that. A playground of the fashion world’s elite ready and waiting to cast their eye over your chose outfit. The struggle is real. And, as if that wasn’t enough to contend with, throw in a mini heatwave so that you can’t rely on your one great winter coat to mask what you’re wearing beneath.

This season, the Stylist fashion team tried to tackle fashion month dressing head on. “We’ll dress like we normally do, but try a little bit harder,” was the motto of the season. In an attempt to still dress like ourselves (albeit the fashion version of ourselves), each member of the fashion team stuck to their usual style and upped the ante where necessary.

So, what did the Stylist fashion team wear to the spring / summer 2020 shows around the world?

The leaves might be turning but the Stylist fashion team’s love of an all-black ensemble is not wavering. Teaming oversized flares with a puff sleeve top makes black more interesting by playing with proportion.
