Designers can find inspiration from the most unusual sources - for Lubov Azria it came from the process of dyeing vintage carpets and rugs.
Azria, whose SS15 collection focused on long, floaty, diaphanous dresses, was taken by the 'Color Reform' process that's used to bring faded carpets to life.
“I thought, how beautiful to have tradition marry innovation,” she told Women's Wear Daily.
