Trend on Trial: Rodarte's dusky, rose-tinted make-up

Published

Ok, so I didn't get my brows pierced a multitude of times but I did try dusky, rose-tinted make-up looks from Rodarte.

Stylist Beauty Editor Sam Flowers is reporting on the SS15 beauty trends, insider gossip and expert tips from backstage at New York Fashion Week

Less grungy than in seasons past, the idea was to create polished looking skin that still had an element of cool. Inspired by the way Laura Mulleavy (one half of Rodarte) wears her eyeshadow slightly dipped down under the eye, Nars International Lead Make-up Stylist Jane Richardson used the same technique fluffing russet shades (try Nars Kuala Lumpur Eye Duo or Isolde Eye Duo) around the eye area which really makes green eyes pop. Taking The Multiple in Orgasm onto the cheeks onto the cheek blending with Unlawful blush she finished with Nars Audacious Lipstick in Barbara - a suits-all nude.
