A team of American stepping dancers walked out on the catwalk instead of models at the Rick Owens spring/summer 2014 show, performing a fierce dance routine with even grittier expressions.
The diverse collection of girls who were plucked from four college dance groups - Washington Divas, Soul Steppers, Momentum and Zetas - worked with designer Rick Owens and his team to create what doubled up as a catwalk show and performance.
The girls of all body types showed the versatility of Owens's clothes which had hoods, zips and thick leather to match the military drill-style routine.
Who says you need supermodels and a starry front row to catch attention?
