Packing for fashion week is no mean feat.

Not only do you have to have a plethora of on-point outfits at your fingertips, they also need to suit a wide calibre of occasions.

There’s the casual brunch look for the army of street style bloggers that throng every corner. Taking it up a notch for your front row spot at the SS13 shows. Then, adding a dash of sparkle for the after-parties and evening cocktail launches.

Tough gig, eh?

Oh, and you’ll require a repertoire of shoes to take you from show to party and presentation, while running all over New York/Milan or Paris in-between.

Here’s what the Stylist fashion and beauty teams are packing as the international extravaganza that is fashion month SS18 continues apace. Click here to see the looks in action.

Stylist’s Executive Fashion Director Kitty McGee at Milan Fashion Week

Pink is the colour of the moment, so it’s good to see Kitty has a dusky pink shade by Victoria Beckham at the ready as she touches down in Milan, capital of exuberant and fanciful fashion.

Armed with a cream Autograph at M&S sweater, her trusty H&M jeans and a pair of Gucci sunnies, Stylist’s executive fashion director has her staples sorted.

Green suede slippers by Sergio Rossi with a progressive squared toe and a striking geometric pattern lend an eclectic edge to Kitty’s portable capsule wardrobe.

The Mulberry gold-chain clutch is another statement piece that allows versatility; it will lift any look it’s paired with.

No Fashion Week packing list would be complete without a scent, and Kitty chooses Because It's You, an elegant fragrance with notes of neroli and vanilla by Emporio Armani.

Stylist’s Fashion Director Arabella Greenhill at New York Fashion Week

A variety of eye-catching dresses by some of the fashion world’s most exciting talent forms the basis of Arabella Greenhill’s suitcase for New York Fashion Week.

For her foray across the Atlantic to a Fashion Week packed with attitude and zest, Stylist’s fashion director brings (left to right, below): an H&M patterned calf-length dress, a poplin open-neck frock by Korean-born designer Rejina Pyo, a bright floral number and a distinctive check design by Tibi.

Sunglasses, a Launer handbag, her Google Pixel phone and – naturally – all the invites complete Arabella’s collection of travel must-haves.
