Zoolander and Hansel are back - on the runway and in the movies.

Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson reprised their comedic male model roles in a shock cameo at the Valentino show at Paris Fashion Week today to promote Zoolander 2, which Paramount confirmed is set to be released in February 2016.

Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend Justin Theroux, who wrote Tropic Thunder, is set to to make his directorial debut on the sequel to the 2001 hit film, Screencrush reported.

Original Zoolander cast member Will Ferrell is set to rejoin the really, really, ridiculously good-looking duo Stiller and Wilson and Penelope Cruz is rumoured to have landed a part in the follow-up.

Shooting will begin in Rome this spring and will see the pair in Europe after becoming irrelevant in the fashion industry and Hansel (Wilson) reportedly having suffered a facial disfigurement.

And the pair's outlandish runway outfits at Valentino?

"Derek wears a custom Night Butterflies brocade suit with hand-embroidered overcoat and black Creeper shoes. Hansel wears a Silk Continent print Pajama suit with Double Cashmere overcoat and Open sneakers," press notes read.

The pair even managed to pose for a snap backstage with an amused looking Anna Wintour:
