When we invited Nicole Scherzinger to take over Stylist.co.uk for an hour, and to answer all your juicy questions, we weren't quite sure what to expect.
Yes, we know her for her vivacious and dramatic X-Factor appearances and for her high octane performances, but when coming face to face with someone who has won you over with their personality on TV, there is often a risk the real person will be quite different.
Yet we need not of worried. Nicole (pictured above with Stylist.co.uk's Maggie and Ash) swept into the Stylist office with a total lack of pomp and entourage, plonking herself in front of us and willingly chatting about everything from her recent holiday to Venice - 'I ate ALL the pasta' - to her favourite new movie (more below).
You can read the full web chat here, but we thought we'd pull out our 8 favourite facts from the chat, just for you.
She's a low maintenance woman when it comes to her beauty routine, conceding she often falls asleep with a full face on. But, when it comes to product, she loves low cost beauty buys. Her favourites products? No. 7 foaming cleanser and Bliss triple oxygen instant energizing eye mask for getting her red-carpet ready after a long day.
Eating in and out
Nicole makes a mean fajita and a family favourite, oyster chicken. Her favourite foods are sushi and pasta amd when eating out in London she loves Nobu, Zuma for sushi and Cipriani for Italian.
Favourite TV and music
Nicole doesn't watch TV. She says she has never done it, she'd rather be writing, recording or listening to music. She is currently loving the Sam Smith album,' In The Lonely Hour'.
How to cure a mood
Her pick me up trick? A good workout or a movie featuring hot men (we know which we'd choose).
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle
On healthy living, Nicole says she tries to work out up to 5 times a week. Like any of us, she says she doesn't always look forward to it and her key to a successful work out is listening to music (and watching other people's music videos!) She loves cross fit, soul fit and bikram yoga though she conceded she'd skipped her morning workout to sleep. She admits to getting 6-7 hours 'on a good night'.
While Nicole may not make time for TV, she does have time for films. She recently watched, and loved, 'About Time' - a film about a man who can travel back in time - 'it felt like a film that would change your life'. She wasn't quite so keen on The Amazing Spiderman 2, which she conceded had a little too many emotional extremes. And of Godzilla? 'Now that was just odd'!
The importance of good friends
Nicole says she loves women who look out for each other, encourage and celebrate each other and 'listen to all the crap you talk and stick with you'. While she admits to needing a b it of alone time on a bad day, she also said there is no cure all like a 'mexican margarita night'.
She'd love to star on Broadway and was offered the role of Velma Kelly in London but had to turn it down. Other ambitions; touring the world and starring in films.
Nicole admits to always being ambitious, revealing that as a child if she coloured outside the lines on a picture she would tear it up and start again. She says that despite managing her work / life balance, when she is away she does focus on work - saying ' you got to keep the hustle '
Nicole's new single, Your Love, is out on July 13th.
