The high-street wedding dress has found its groove.
Several of our favourite retailers have realised that there’s a big market out there for stylish bridal gowns, jumpsuits and suits at an affordable price point. So we’re excited to report that French Connection is the latest to announce details of a wedding range – with prices starting at just £65.
What’s more, while there’s obviously a selection of beautiful dresses, there are also tops, trousers and culottes with stunning lace detail, for brides who don’t fancy the whole princess thing.
The Arta lace top and culottes below retail at £80 and £90 respectively.
French Connection’s bridal culottes probably cost less than your bouquet
Meanwhile, there’s a more classic look on offer with the Palmero gown, priced at £295.

The floor-length Cari dress features flowing sleeves and an embellished waist, and comes in at £250.

The Camino shirt (left) is priced £65, while the lace Arta trousers are £120.
French Connection’s bridal trousers and top cost a combined £185 – enough change for a few reception champagnes
The collection also features a short-sleeved tea-dress style (£250), and the Genoa gown (below), a pale maxi skirt with an embellished vest-style top half, priced at £195.

Bridesmaids, wedding guests and those who want a more colourful bridal look are also catered for, with three floral-detail dresses on offer, such as the £250 Christy Bloom dress.

The 11-piece collection will launch in February 2018 – great news for anyone with winter and spring nuptials in the diary.
