Red carpet arrivals are one of our favourite parts of awards season, and the Golden Globes rarely disappoint on the fashion front.

While it’s always nice to see the people behind the films and TV programmes we love get recognised by their peers for their hard work, we can’t say we don’t also adore the beautiful couture on show.

Pale, floral, metallic and yellow designs all put in a good show, but there were a couple of unexpected looks too.
