Red carpet arrivals are one of our favourite parts of awards season, and the Golden Globes rarely disappoint on the fashion front.
While it’s always nice to see the people behind the films and TV programmes we love get recognised by their peers for their hard work, we can’t say we don’t also adore the beautiful couture on show.
This year marks the 74th of the star-studded ceremony – hosted by Jimmy Fallon in The Beverly Hilton, LA – and we’ve seen plenty of sartorial stunners to rival the iconic looks of previous years. Pale, floral, metallic and yellow designs all put in a good show, but there were a couple of unexpected looks too.

La La Land’s Emma Stone dons pale, floor-length Valentino on the red carpet, declaring “it’s pink and there are stars on it”. We cannot argue with that.
