Kate Spade pops up in London

Stylist's dream pad would have airy Georgian architecture, dramatic art, stacks of classic novels and of course, endless handbags. Exactly, in fact, like the newly popped Kate Spade shop in Covent Garden

She may be new to our shores but this handbag line turned lifestyle superbrand is huge stateside, with fans including SJP and Sienna Miller.

We fell in love the moment we walked through the just-opened door. Everything in this four room New York inspired apartment, from quirky crockery to crisp bed linen, is for sale. We particularly loved the book clutch bags, designed to look like novels Great Expectations and The Important of being Earnest (£255) and the oversized Spade bracelet (£30), nestled among vintage style brooches and gold rings on the dressing table.

Unable to pop-in in the next thirty days? Sources tell us the brand is searching for a permanent UK home for early 2011.

Open until November 10 at 7 Henrietta Street, WC2E 8PW.
