Inspired by the Met Costume Institute’s spring exhibition Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, this year’s theme, ‘Tailored for You’, centres on the characteristics of Black dandyism, as described in Monica L Miller’s 2009 book, Slaves To Fashion: Black Dandyism And The Styling Of Black Diasporic Identity.

For 2025, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour was joined by first-time collaborators Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton and Pharrell Williams as co-chairs, while LeBron James serves as an honorary chair.

Last year’s ethereal theme, The Garden Of Time, spawned magnificent floral and fauna displays, while this year is predicted to be full of sharp, suave suits with an emphasis on clear-cut lines, collars and exquisite tailoring.
