Princess Beatrice announced her engagement to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in autumn’s next must-have dress.
Princess Beatrice is set to wed longtime partner, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, after the couple got engaged during a romantic trip to Italy earlier this month.
The royal’s sister, Princess Eugenie, took to Instagram to share the happy news alongside a series of photographs of the soon-to-be newlyweds.
For the Italian photo call, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson chose a £595 floral dress by Australian fashion house Zimmerman.
Dubbed the ‘Allia’, the maxi dress is emblazoned with autumn-ready blooms and boasts puff sleeves sliced from breathable linen - the perfect material for tackling the surprisingly humid weather.
The Buckingham Palace-approved piece is still available to shop online but fashion devotees will need to move fast, as the dress is sure to fly from the shelves.

If that’s not enough to satisfy every royal follower’s shopping cravings, Beatrice also championed a second look by the Aussie mega label in further images shared by her mother on Twitter. This time, the bride-to-be opted for Zimmerman’s £550 silk wrap midi dress in deep red.

Again, the look - also plucked from the brand’s autumn/winter 19 line - has yet to fall under the spell of the ‘Beatrice Effect’ and is still available to buy online.
According to Buckingham Palace, the royal wedding is set to take place in 2020 and with the Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie choosing heavyweight designers to create their bridal gowns, Givenchy and Peter Pilotto, we can’t wait to see what Princess Beatrice chooses to grace the aisle.
Place your bets.
