Reese Witherspoon arrived at this year’s Golden Globes wearing a monochrome dress and slicked back hair.

The actress is nominated for Best Actress in Wild – the story of a woman's 1,100-mile solo hike in a bid to recover from a recent catastrophe.

Reese will go up against four other actresses; Rosamund Pike for Gone Girl, Julianne Moore for Still Alice, Jennifer Aniston for Cake and Felicity Jones for her role in The Theory of Everything.

This isn’t the first time that the actress is up for an Academy Award. The actress won a her first ever Best Actress Oscar in 2006 for her role as June Carter in the Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line.
