If the arrival of spring/summer collections in the shops wasn’t already enough to get you in a positive frame of mind, the new LABELS ARE FOR CLOTHES initiative from River Island will likely finish the job.

Spreading the message that LABELS ARE FOR CLOTHES, NOT PEOPLE, the brand has teamed up with anti-bullying charity Ditch the Label to create an exclusive range of Tees and sweats, emblazoned with empowering slogans that shout that mantra loud and proud. We’re particularly big fans of the slouchy multicoloured sweater, with the personalise your own label tee coming in a very close second.

Best of all, £3 from every purchase goes to Ditch the Label, helping them continue their work combatting disempowerment, prejudice and bullying. You can even lend an additional helping hand through your social channels, with every social share using the hashtag #LABELSAREFORCLOTHES generating an additional £1 for the charity. Finally, a chance to score some likes and do some good at the same time…
