Rixo launches first bridal collection today (and it’s as dreamy as you would imagine)

Making every modern bride’s dreams come true, London-born brand Rixo has just launched a 26-piece edit of gorgeous bridal outfits.

When it comes to dresses, Rixo has been a desirable destination since launching in 2015. Meeting at the University of Arts London, founders Henrietta Rix and Orlagh McCloskey soon gained a flurry of fans eager to wear their designs. With vintage-inspired prints bridging the gap between thrifted gems and luxury finds, the dresses soon become It items among the fashion elite.

Since then, we’ve seen Rixo dip its toe into knitwear, create accessories that could have been family heirlooms passed down through generations, and more recently, pyjamas.

Now, ahead of London Fashion Week on 23 February, Rixo has just dropped its debut bridal collection for all to see – and shop – already. And it’s as magical as you can imagine.

The limited edition capsule collection of 26 pieces is one not to miss. With vintage aesthetics in mind, each style is made from 100% silk to give the ultimate premium feel.

With the #HumansofRixo hashtag boasting nearly 9,000 pictures on Instagram of people proudly showing off their outfits, Rixo is all about creating looks for everyday women. No matter their age, style, size or even the season they would like to wear a style in.

So, for the modern bride looking for alternative options to bridal dressing while still keeping hints of timeless traditions, look no further.

With spaghetti straps, ruffles and full-length lace sleeves, attention-to-detail is key to every design. You’ll be glad to know they’re also practical – made from minimal-crease fabric with an array of hem lengths deviating from the usual floor-sweepers that end up collecting all sorts throughout the day.

Standing the test of time, we predict you’ll inevitably want to get the wear out of these, styling after the big day for occasions in the future. Note: maybe not ideal as a wedding guest.

There are no boundaries when it comes to wedding day dressing – from suiting and jumpsuits to two-pieces and mini styles, anything goes. To amp up the fun factor, Rixo’s feather-hem styles in midi and midi lengths have taken minimal silhouettes to new heights. If you’re all about the accessories, then we have some good news for you.

Not only is the 26-piece collection up for grabs, all the accessories you can see styled with the designs are vintage treasures that’ll be sold alongside the collection. As one-off pieces, you’ll have to be quick to get your hands on these.

Choosing a wedding dress can be a tricky decision, and it doesn’t help when all of these styles are as beautiful as the last. Thankfully, Rixo is on hand to talk through the collection with you. Drop them an email at bridal@rixo.co.uk to get a one-to-one virtual appointment with one of their bridal specialists.

Whatever your ceremony looks like, we imagine these Rixo bridal outfits will be the talk of the top table.
