The winners of the SAG awards are often thought to give a hint to who will triumph at the Oscars, and the eagle eyed film fans were watching closely with favourites like Birdman and Boyhood winning big.
But in the fashion stakes, the prediction aspect flies out of the window as the stars continue to dazzle in some of the best red carpet dresses we've seen this season.
Following last month’s Golden Globes, the trend for white dresses continues with Maggie Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon both dazzling in fitted white dresses, while Downton Abbey's Laura Carmichael went for a halterneck white gown.
And chic black dresses were also seen all over the red carpet with both Emma Stone and Rosamund Pike opting for unconventional versions with asymmetrical skirts and trains.
But we were given a splash of colour by Keira Knightley, Julianne Moore and Sofia Vergara who all had bold coloured dresses that looked just as stylish.
