Soho Home has launched at Anthropologie and it’s already got Meghan Markle’s seal of approval.
It started as a Georgian townhouse in central London 1995. Now, it has become the worldwide phenomenon, Soho House. Expanding their roots to cover North America, India, Europe and almost all of London, the celebrity-packed houses have become something of an institution not least for their stylish interior design. (Technically it’s against house policy to take pictures inside the properties, but this has not stopped fans snapping away the insta-worthy crockery and snug velvet sofas.)
In fact, the interiors love for Soho House’s laid back, lived in chic was so strong that three years ago the brand launched Soho Home – the club’s own décor line – and a way for you to build your own idyll at home saucer by saucer.
Fans of the brand (and indeed the saucers) include none other than theDuchess of Sussex herself, Meghan Markle. Her friend and former make-up artist, Daniel Martin shared this photo on Instagram showing him catching up with pal Meghan over avocado on toast stylishly served on Soho Home crockery.
Now here comes the really good news: previously reserved for those in the know, Soho Home has finally hit the mainstream with a first-time collaboration with high street interiors hero, Anthropologie.
The Soho Home x Anthropologie 70-piece collection is a classic representation of the Soho House brand, easily mixing style and function with a vintage art deco twist. With a focus on the interiors of Soho House Greek Street and Soho House Barcelona the collection includes mid-century dressing tables, velvet padded scalloped edged poufs and textured vases that will add a touch of understand glamour to any home.
