Take a look inside Sarah Jessica Parker's Fabulous house

Published

We're in love. Not with a person, oh no. It's actually with a house. More specifically, it's Sarah Jessica Parker's house.

As part of an interview with Vogue in the US, SJP, answered 73 short-fire questions on anything and everything.

At the same time, we also got to have a sneaky look around her townhouse in New York. However, if you're expecting to see something akin to Carrie Bradshaw's apartment, think again.

For starters, the carpet on the stairs is much darker than anything we imagine Carrie would pick. As we follow SJP through her front door, you can spot an immaculately arranged hallway table (note to self: must get a huge candle), and then we're led to her beautiful living room.

This area is decorated in a bright green and is full of books, on both sides, from top to bottom. Little quirky furnishings also make this room amazing, such as her globes (pictured above) and also the drinks cabinet (pictured, but blurry). But the pièce de résistance has to be that dark green velvet couch.

We can also spot that she loves artwork, and when we're taken through to the back room, we can see the walls are covered in myriad works of art, including one which is propped up on a glowing table (WANT).

There's also a surprising feature that comes in the form of a table tennis board, which is located in her bright room at the back, and we're totally in love with that piano too.

During the interview she also gives us an insight into her life. Here are just a few of the answers we loved:

The book she read in school that shaped her? To Kill A Mocking Bird

Favourite dessert? Sister's brownies

Kittens of puppies? Kittens

Spirit animal? Dove

Favourite colour? Peacock blue

But perhaps the best moment is when the interviewer asks her the question 'heels or flats?' to which she merely raises an eyebrow, as if to say, you're kidding me, right?
