This year, your festival go-to comes with a big hit of nostalgia…
Polo Ralph Lauren has long been our go-to brand for preppy wardrobe classics: striped Oxford shirts, gold button-down blazers and matching grey tracksuits.
But it has been a while since we were last scrambling in a must-have frenzy for a piece of the Polo pie (at least since our high school cries for yet another cable knit jumper).
That was until the brand launched its spring summer collection of t-shirts, hoodies and so on, featuring bright, psychedelic tie-dye swirls, and the fashion world collectively drew in a sharp inhale of breath as a wave of nostalgic desire came over us.
Tapping into the Nineties trends we just can’t get enough of (bucket hats, headbands, hair clips, bum bags and cycling shorts) the tie-dye pieces fall perfectly in line with festival season and have already been spotted on taste-makers Adwoa Aboah and Gigi Hadid.
In classic Adwoa style, the Stylist cover girl paired her hoody with print-clashing trousers and crystal embellished mules. Gigi gave us more of an All-American feel with the tie-dye t-shirt from the collection, worn with white high-waisted denim.
Ralph Lauren report that the tie-dye collection has been a bestseller both online and in store, as well as with their partners ASOS, Harrods and Selfridges.
And if you’re already planning your festival looks for the summer, then shop the collection below quick-fast before your tie-dye dreams are dashed…
