Miu Miu's 'Women's Tales' set for Venice

Published

Gemma Arterton is just one of the big names appearing in the fourth installment of Miu Miu's Women's Tales film series, premiering at the Venice Film Festival on August 30.

The British actress is joined by Patricia Clarkson, Aubrey Plaza, Rinko Kikuchi and Zola Jesus in It's Getting Late, one of four short movies helmed by female directors from around the world. Designed as a project to support young female filmmakers, the series comprises short works by American Zoe Cassavetes, Argentinian Lucrecia Martel, Italian Giada Colagrande and Iranian-American Massy Tadjedin.

A tease to Tadjedin's It's Getting Late shows Arterton and her co-stars in the dressing up stages of a glamorous evening out at Hollywood's The Hotel Cafè club, below.
