Your denim staples are about to get a make over.
Coachella is a hop, skip and a jump away and with it brings the promise of a summer filled with festivals (and an Instagram feed full of fringing). Inevitably, with the excitement of festivals comes the perennial question of what to wear?
It’s a tricky landscape to navigate, do you go classic Alexa Chung and pair denim cut offs with Hunter boots? Are you more Sienna Miller circa 2004 teaming a mini sundress with UGG boots, a denim jacket and a circle disk belt slug long across your hips? Or are you hard-core Kate Bosworth in the desert with high-waisted jeans, a boho style blouse and worn-in cowboy boots?
Choose your muse as your like, but one thing you can’t escape is denim when it comes to festival dressing: shorts, shirts, jackets, jeans and skirts it’s impossible to not throw one your favourite blues into your backpack.
The options are endless: your name on the back of your jacket, the initials of you and your festival bestie on the waistband of your denim cut offs, your star sign embroidered into the pocket of your favourite high-waisted jeans or even the name of your go-to festival on the back of your denim mini/midi skirt.
Go forth and customise, you won’t regret (or forget) it.
