A strong core really isn’t about having visible abs or rippling six pack– it’s about keeping us stable and supported when we move. For this workout, you’ll need to switch on those middle muscles as you perfect the ultimate compound exercise – the dumbbell snatch – before heading into a circuit of jump squats, overhead presses and renegade rows. Keep the core engaged right through the workout because we’ll be ending with a burpee/chest fly finisher, and by stronger your middle, the better protected your back will be. This is your chance to prove that a strong core is key to overall strength.
