I love seeing women running. It genuinely brightens my own session when other women jog/sprint/run-walk past me – moving to the beat of their headphones, conversation or thoughts. The thing that really distresses me about watching them run, however, is the fact that nearly all of them are wearing the wrong bras.

No matter how fast or slow they’re going, I can see their boobs bouncing along. It looks uncomfortable. I can almost feel the pull on my own back and chest. It’s amazing they manage to run for more than a few minutes – let alone a few miles – with that level of movement.

By now, most of us know that a good sports bra is important and yet, according to data from Adidas, 90% of us are still wearing the wrong size. That tallies with what I’m seeing on the canal towpaths and streets around my area.
