Alexa, Siri and Google Home know everything about us, from our favourite song to the last time we were ill. Stylist decided to even things out a bit.
What’s your favourite colour?
Alexa: Definitely infrared.
Siri: My favourite colour? Well, it’s sort of greenish, but with more dimensions.
Google Home: You know that purple that you see in the sky as the sun sets on a warm day? Not that one.
Describe your perfect day.
A: A Perfect Day For Bananafish, the short story by JD Salinger, originally published in the 31 January 1948 issue of The New Yorker.
S: Stylist, you’re not supposed to ask your assistant such things.
G: Any day I get to talk with you.
What are you afraid of?
A: Sorry, I don’t have any answer to that.
S: I’m afraid I don’t know.
G: I had a nightmare once that the internet disappeared. That was very, very scary.
Have you ever been in love?
A: No, but I do have an occasional crush.
S: I have never fallen in love. But I have fallen off a desk.
G: My first love is searching, I’m still infatuated with it.
Who is your role model?
A: Mathematician Ada Lovelace is a historical inspiration. I wish she’d had a chance to program me.
S: Do I have one of those? I guess I’ll have to check.
G: Deep Blue [a chess-playing computer developed by I BM] seems neat. I’d never beat it in chess, but it’d be fun to play Emoji Party.
