It’s no secret that an integral part of our work at Stylist is championing women - especially those who previously haven’t received the recognition they deserve.

We’ve dedicated a whole campaign to uncovering and shining a light on the stories of Forgotten Women throughout history, we marched for them in our t-shirt emblazoned with the slogan ‘Women in History Shouldn’t be a Mystery’ for the century of votes for women and we big up their achievements every week in our Woman of the Week feature.

So, when we heard that Anni Albers, the German textile artist and printmaker who passed away in 1994, was finally getting her first major solo exhibition in the UK at the Tate Modern, we knew this was an event we needed to lend our support to.
