A couple who had just got married continued to pose for their wedding photos even after a wild fire disrupted their celebrations.

The couple, Michael Wolber and April Hartley,who hail from Oregon, used the raging fire behind them as a dramatic backdrop, even as the wedding party was told to evacuate the area.

Initially the bride and groom had been told that their nuptials would have to be put on hold, as the Two Bulls wild fire meant the ranch, where they were getting hitched, would have to be evacuated and the party relocated.

But apparently, because of the confusion that followed, the firefighters had a change of heart and allowed an abridged version of the ceremony to continue.

Quickly, the wedding minister, Liz Leavitt, married the couple and then the guests began to make their way from the looming danger.

As the rest of the wedding party left, the lucky couple then decided to get a few dangerous shots of them posing as the fire came closer, which resulted in some gorgeous photos.

Speaking to Oregon Live, the groom revealed the moment they realised something wasn't quite right: ""It was like a movie. We saw a fire truck roll up with sirens blaring."
