Beyonce posts the first Fifty Shades of Grey teaser on Instagram

Published

The first teaser for the long-anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey movie has been released by none other than Beyonce.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie, which will follow the same plot as the bestselling book by EL James - about naive student Anastasia, who signs a sexual contract with high-powered businessman Christian Grey - is set to be released on Valentine's Day next year.

Beyonce posted this fifteen second trailer on Instagram yesterday

Beyonce has been rumoured to be singing on the film's soundtrack since a trailer was revealed to a select crowd at a cinema convention in March, and her posting of this teaser seems to confirm that.

It shows a suited man looking out of an office window - in a similar shot to the previously released posters with Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey - a silk dress being pulled up over a woman's legs, and finally a man entering a hotel room.

The soundtrack to the 15-second clip is a breathy 'uh oh' - the famous riff from Crazy In Love - which should explain Beyonce's excitement to post it.

She simply captioned the Instagram video with the hashtag #fiftyshades, not giving any more away, but this hasn't stopped the legions of Fifty Shades fans getting very excited about her involvement with the film.

The teaser - which really is teasing us - tells us that the full trailer for the Fifty Shades film will be released on Thursday, saying "the worldwide phenomenon will come to life." We can't wait.
