And while she still carries her baseball bat, in the teaser clip Harley has a new accessory: a martini glass from which she sips enthusiastically.

Fan are theorising that Harley’s colourful ensemble could be a sign that she might be flipping over to the good side in Birds of Prey. Certainly, the teaser clip features not a single mention of Harley’s relationship with the other members of the Suicide Squad, nor her boyfriend The Joker. If you zoom into Robbie’s Instagram picture, one of her necklaces features a pendant inscribed with the words ‘Bruce’.

Some are suggesting that this is a reference to Batman’s double life as billionaire playboy Bruce Wayneeast and that the film could feature a cameo appearance from the dark knight himself. Others have noted that the name of the creator of the Harley Quinn comic book character is Bruce Timm, and the necklace might simply be a fun Easter egg nod to him.

Either way, everything about this movie’s cast, team, plot and costume design is getting us excited for its release. Bring on February 2020.
