At this time of year, children all across the world usually pen letters to Santa in the hope of receiving everything on their Christmas wish lists.

And, yes, sometimes the fear of finding themselves on the ‘naughty list’ can see them trying to paint themselves in the best possible light, to help ensure that they secure the toy of their dreams.

However, one six-year-old child from Virginia in America is having none of it this year.

Sarah McCammon, an NPR reporter in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions in America, recently shared her son’s own handwritten letter to Santa.

Taking to Twitter, she posted a picture of his letter on Sunday 3 December, saying: “My 6-year-old Santa sceptic was told to write a letter to Santa at school. So he did…”
