If ever you need a reminder of what fearless looks like, this is it.
Six-year-old Sarah Patel from New Zealand has been filmed attempting to defend her family's shop from robbers.
The little girl from Auckland boldly attempted to stop burglars who attacked her father's electrical shop.
In an eight-second video she can be seen rushing to try and prevent one of the criminals from attacking a staff member before she dashes to the aid of her grandfather, attempting to stop him from getting caught up in the scene.
It's a monumental show of bravery, especially as the intruders were threatening and attacking people with weapons including an axe and crowbar, according to The Guardian. Her concern for the safety of her family's above her own is also far beyond her years, not to mention incredibly inspiring.
Her father told The Guardian that his little girl "wasn't afraid" of the bad guys.
Unsurprisingly, Patel's father said she went into shock after the incident, becoming quiet and withdrawn at home.
The Guardian reports that there were six teenage robbers at the scene of the crime. Five of them have been apprehended and charged thanks to police, who placed spikes on the road to stall their getaway. Proving that bravery is in this family's genes, Sarah's relatives also sought them out in their car. Unfortunately one of the perpetrators is still yet to be caught.
Someone get this girl a bravery award.
