However, while Markle is due to become a member of the Royal Family, she is still expected to go through the official citizenship process – just like anyone else hoping to become an official Briton would.

The exam, which is used to determine how well applicants know the UK, covers all sorts of topics: think history, customs, traditions, politics, geography and law, to name just a few.
