To be fair, they’ve got a lot of space. A small island in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia even hit the headlines earlier this year for offering a guaranteed job and two acres of land for anyone who moved there.

While Donald Trump’s campaign message was sketchy and vague in many areas, immigration formed a key part of his election platform. According to the policies laid out during his campaign, Trump’s administration will make it harder for immigrants to come to the US legally and triple the US’s existing “deportation force” – hypothetically giving the government the capacity to deport up to 1.2 million people every year. Vox reports that Trump has also spent more than a year being tutored by Senator Jeff Sessions, a long-time opponent of legal and unauthorized immigration.
