Cat founded Cat & The Cream in 2010 as a bakery business specialising in vegan, dairy free, wheat free and soya free cakes.
She started it off as a registered home-based business and moved operations into a commercial kitchen premises in Battersea just six months after launch. She built up her company from servicing local restaurants and shops to stocking in Whole Foods Market. This month, she secured a deal to supply her cakes to supermarket chain Ocado.
Cat runs her business on a very clear philosophy. All her products are handmade using high quality, fresh ingredients and feature delicious flavours such as coconut and raspberry and hazelnut and chocolate chip with hazelnut icing.
Her dairy, wheat and soya free cakes cater to those with specific allergies or intolerances, but they are rich and indulgent enough to be enjoyed by all.
