The annual awards, founded by Gillian Nissim who set up workingmums.co.uk to offer advice and support to women wanting to get back into work, recognise good practice around flexible working and aim to inspire less mum-friendly organisations to follow suit.

Organisations included in this year’s shortlist are; Royal Mail, KPMG, Just Teachers Ltd, Deutsche Bank, Manpower, RBS and John Lewis.

The winners will be announced on 5th October with Lynne Featherstone, parliamentary under secretary and Minister for Equalities.
