With the spotlight firmly focused on London thanks to the Olympics, now's a great time to celebrate the capital city and some of its biggest icons.
The picture team from Sonic Editions has put together a special collection of London photos featuring home-grown stars such as Twiggy, Jean Shrimpton and Cary Grant, alongside bands like The Beatles and Sex Pistols photographed beside iconic London landmarks.
The Sonic Editions collection perfectly captures the making of modern London - from The Who performing in front of Tower Bridge in the swinging 60s to a shot of Damon Albarn during the reign of Brit Pop in the 90s - and the photos are real collectors items with each image limited to just 495 prints. Prices begin at a very reasonable £45.
We've selected some of our favourite London icons below; check out the full London collection online at soniceditions.com
