The hippest neighbourhoods in the UK have been revealed – but has yours made the cut?
If you’re on the cusp of booking a weekend break in some historically enchanting European city then maybe turn your attention to places closer to home.
TravelSupermarket has revealed the coolest neighbourhoods in the UK, and they sure do look hip.
The holiday comparison site complied the list by scoring neighbourhoods for the number of hip culture outposts (like independent coffee shops, vegan cafes and more), creative capital density (the number of creative jobs available in the area) and traveller value (if the area is good value for money).
And points were deducted for areas with a high number of chain shops such a Starbucks, Costa and more.
Some cities came up trumps by scoring more than one neighbourhood on the list: Manchester secured three entries; Glasgow picked up two, and London scooped four.
