Cuddle Clone wants to "capture the emotional connection between people and their pets through our customized products", according to a mission statement on its website.

However, this service does come at a price; a cuddly version of your dog, cat, horse or other large pet will set you back $199 (£129), or it costs $129 (£83.50) to re-create rabbits and other smaller animals.

Deliveries can be arranged for the UK, although it may take up to four weeks for the model to be made.
