He may look like a fluffy pom-pom, but this powerful pooch has just became a celebrity in the canine world.
Four-year-old Pekingese Malachy was crowned Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Pageant (the US version of Crufts) at New York's Madison Square Gardens this week, beating off strong competition from a Dalmation, a Germand Shepherd and a Daschund. The 'toy' dog is the fourth Pekingese to win the prestigious pooch accolade, although it's clearly a walk in the park for Malachy, who has won a whopping 115 Best in Show prizes.
And since his big win, little Malachy seems to have become a bit of a pet celebrity, being waited on hand and foot, and even meeting Donald Trump, as these adorable pictures of him out and about in New York show. For a little end-of-the-week cuteness, scroll down and take a look.
