The results of Glassdoor's survey are based on anonymous employee insight and feedback shared with them over the course of the year.

Users were asked to rate how satisfied they were with their job overall, how well they felt their chief executive led the company, whether they would recommend their employer to a friend, as well as workplace attributes including career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values and work-life balance.

A total score out of 5 was then given to the top 25 companies.
