According to Page Six, the incident happened at Sydney’s Marquee nightclub where the venue’s security then combed the crowd looking for the disgraced fan, although it is not known if they were asked to leave the gig.

The video was posted to Instagram by a Drake fan page and so far, has amassed over 2,000 views and several comments in support for the performer.

After seeing his defence of his female fans one user was keen their adoration, writing, “just when I️ thought I️ couldn’t love him anymore than I️ already do”.

Another agreed, commenting, “I love him”.

British band Architects also recently drew attention to a male fan who groped the breasts of a women who was crowd surfing at one of their gigs. Lead singer Sam Carter was hailed a hero after stopping the band’s set to slam the “piece of s***” assaulter, insisting that the “disgusting” behaviour had no place at music festivals.

Here’s to more musicians setting the example that sexual harassment is not acceptable in any form, at any place. Because guess what: women deserve to watch their favourite artists and not get groped while doing so.
